Preparing our Turkey

It is the day before Thanksgiving and we have cleansed our turkey in hot bath of  salt, herbs and vinegar. The turkey has been rubbed with a mix of butter, herbs, onion, garlic, seasonings and citrus. I plan on slow cooking the 24 pound beast for a few hours starting this evening!
